Family Garden Days are monthly classes for all members of the community and their families to join Washington Youth Garden staff in our one-acre fruit and vegetable garden. During this guided, 2 hour program, families explore garden themes through learning games, nature crafts, garden work, and fresh garden snacks. Activities and content are designed for children 5 and older to do together with parents or adult family members, however self-guided sensory stations will be set up for you and your little ones. Family Garden Days are scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of each month, March-October, with a suggested donation of cost $5 per individual. Only 30 spots available per class. Pre-registration required.

Theme

Grains - See and harvest grains in the garden. Munch on some popcorn with herb toppings picked from the herb garden.

Pricing

Each FGD: $ 5.00 suggested donation

Full-season pass: $ 25.00 per individual.

Pay what you can: Recommended donation fee is $5 per family member. This program costs WYG about $200 in staff time and $150 in supplies each Family Garden Day, chip in to help us continue to offer it and make it accessible to all.

A Season Pass for $25 per family member, a family of four could join each week for 8 weeks for $100.00. Monthly that = (100/4)/8 = $3.13 per person per class if you attend all 8. No refunds for no-shows/if missed.
