June 1st will be an exciting opportunity for young people and their parents to interact directly with drones, flight simulators, an electric car, a robotics display, developing nanotechnology and a slime exhibit. We look forward to having a DC Firetruck and a local TV weather truck for young people to explore. Federal and Distirct agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will participate in this event. Roosevelt High School and Ward 4 Councilmember Brandon Todd are co-sponsors for this free event. Explore and Experience STEM firsthand! A free lunch will be served.
