Afterschool in the City is an annual event hosted by the Deputy Mayor for Education's Learn24 network. This annual resource fair connects District families with afterschool and out-of-school time (OST) programs and opportunities that are designed for the District’s children and youth ages 5-21. District youth and families will hear directly from government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community-based organizations, and can learn about the various afterschool programming and OST opportunities available to them (e.g.- internships, afterschool programs, etc.)!
District Families can expect to gather resources about:
- Afterschool Programming
- Afterschool Jobs and Internships
- Learning experiences
- Fun activities to participate in during the school year
- and more
