The Commission on Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes will hold a public meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street NW, Room 1107 South. The OST Commission will hear updates from the Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes and the Needs Assessment Committee. Finally, the Commission will hear updates from the OST Commission’s committees.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who wish to comment at a public meeting are asked to notify the OST Office in advance by phone at (202) 481-3932 or by email at [email protected]. Individuals should furnish their names, addresses, telephone numbers, and organizational affiliation, if any, and if available, submit one electronic copy of their testimony by the close of business on Tuesday, March 31th at 5:00 pm.

The Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes (OST Office) and the OST Commission support the equitable distribution of high-quality, out-of-school-time programs to District of Columbia youth through coordination among government agencies, grant-making, data collection and evaluation, and the provision of technical assistance to service providers. The OST Commission’s purpose is to develop a District-wide strategy for equitable access to out-of-school-time programs and to facilitate interagency planning and coordination for out-of-school time programs and funding.
