It's a celebration! You're invited to our second annual block party.

This year, the block party will be based on our current exhibition, A Right To The City. The exhibition represents the neighborhoods of Anacostia, Adams Morgan, Brookland, Southwest, Shaw, and Chinatown. Enjoy live performances from The Blackbyrds , Black Alley, Crazee Praize, and an Aretha Franklin Tribute by The MusicianShip Washington Youth Choir. Come out and partake in food trucks, a diverse vendor's marketplace, and so much more. Bring the whole community!

3:15 - 3:45pm: The Musicianship Washington Youth Choir Tribute to Aretha Franklin

There will be Free Shuttle Service to and from the Anacostia Metro Station. The first bus leaves from the Howard Rd. side of the station in the Shannon Place circle at 10:30am and runs every 20 minutes. The last shuttle back to the metro station will leave from the museum at 4pm.
