Funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs, CITES was co-developed with a cohort of diverse school districts across the country and provides tools and resources for district leaders to develop and maintain inclusive technology ecosystems including resources to engage families. For students with disabilities, it is vital to ensure that families are involved, particularly when planning for the implementation of assistive technology (AT) and accessible educational materials (AEM), to foster positive educational outcomes.
